Your Welcome

Kaylee Jade is talking so much!! Anytime I tell her thank you, she replys with the cutesest little "your wlecome!" It makes my heart melt. She is such a fun little girl. She will also say "sorry" at the drop of a hat. Today we were at target, and she was running past this lady and said "oh sorry." While we were picking up today, we bumped into each other and of course she laughed and said "sorry."

Today we went to and Easter Extravaganxa at Peterson AFB. It was fun. I will up load the pics asap. (I still need to figure that part out). Kaylee had alot of fun, she kept trying to steel the easter eggs.

Yesterday we woke up and it was snowing. Of course Kaylee said "oh snow" So Kaylee and I bult a snowman. It was so much fun!!

Terrible Twos.....
So the other day Eric and I were at warlmart. We were cheking out when Kaylee saw some gum and well started to thow a fit. It wasn't a bad one, but it make people look. Anyway the checker asked how old she was, and I replied with "shes almost 2." The checker actually had the nerve to say "oh the treeible twos" with disgust in her voice. I said "there not so terrible, and she said "whatever" all snooty. Why do people do that? Why can't they just see that at two it is really hard for kids to express their feelings. I loves Kaylees age right knw. Yea we have some bad days, but it is so worth it. After a long day she will give me the biggest hug and I am over it!! We are so lucky to have her. I am re-namining the two as the "terrific twos!!!

RSV

Last week, Kaylee started with a cough. A few days later, i noticed her effort to breath was increasing and her heart rate was really fast. I took her to the ER and she was diagnosed with RSV pneumonia. She had to have breathing treatments every four hours. Man did she hate them. I tried all the tricks to get her to sit still. I even followed my mothers suggestion and hid under a tent with her. She was not having any of it. Finally, I just stated giving it to her when she was asleep. Every now and then she had a bad coughing fit where I had to hold her down to give her the treatment. She is doing much better know, but is still contagious. We have been stuck in this house for a week and we are both going crazy!! Yesterday her and I stayed in our PJ's all day!! I guess its not all bad!! One good thing that came out of this, was that Kaylee and I really had to get invented during play time. We had to keep the games low key, but still fun. Nana's Christmas presents really came in handy!! Even Eric played dress-up with Kaylee!! She is such a strong little angle. I am so proud of her. She says a new word just about everyday. Yesterday we were reading books and she saw an airplane, and said airplane. It was so cute!! Kaylee loves to dance. The only draw back is that if Queen Kaylee is dancing, everyone must dance with her highness. She will point to the floor and tell you"down" until you get up and bust a move with her.

Because Kaylee has been contagious I have had to have Cory's little brother Nick watch her. She loves her uncle Nick. They have so much fun together (when he's not chasing her around the house with tickle me Elmo). I am so thankful for all my friends. We are truly lucky to have such great friends. They are more like my Colorado Family. I am a little sad today. I just found out that my friend Emily and her family are moving back to Utah. I am happy for them because I know how hard it is to be away for family, but I will miss them so much. Emily and her family have been so good to me in more ways than I can count. Emily is always there, and really helped me though my little boob scare. She is so inspirational. She makes me want to be a better mom, friend and daughter of our heavenly father. She makes my testimony grow more and more each day. I have been blessed to know them. I guess its a good thing they are moving, because eventually we will be moving back to Utah (I always try and look at the good). I am so glad that we met, and I know that she will be a friend of mine for years to come. (I don't think we can keep Kaylee and Avery away for to long, Kaylee gets so mad when people come to the door and it's not Avery. She runs right to her room crying!! I can't wait to get them together again, it has been to long!!!)

My first post....

So a few of my good friends have a family blog on this site. I was unable to post to their blogs until I singed up myself. I have been thinking about how much I need to start writing down my thoughts. So much happens each day, some I would love to forget, others I want to hold on to forever. I hope that by writing some of them down, I can look back and remember the good (and the bad) days.

My daughter, my pride and joy has just turned 19 months. I can't believe how old she is getting. I miss holding her close like I did when she was a baby, but I love to watch her grow. She is learning so much and amazes me everyday. Last night we let her watch a movie in our bed before bedtime. She tucked Eric and I in and patted our backs. It made me melt. Man some days it kills me to put her in her own bed. I want her so close to me all the time!!!

We watched Avery the other night. It was so fun, those two really do get along well. They played dress ups and babies oh and who can make the biggest mess. When it was time for her to go home, Kaylee hid in her room so she wouldn't have to say goodbye. As soon as the door shut, she ran right up to is screaming No! No! No! She hates to say goodbye just like her mama!!
