Another good day.... I worked to day. I work at Memorial ED as an RN. I have been there for 3 yrs now and still love it. I only work 1-2 days a week now, its just enough to get me some adult time. I love being a nurse.... It is so much better than going to school... I dont miss that one bit! Kaylee and Payton go to Cassandras house for Daycare. They both really enjoy it there. Kaylee always comes home with the cutest new art projects!

To finish on yesterdays post......

After Memorail day, Eric and I drove back to Colorado. We had one more week to spend together before he got sent to Afganistan. We took the girls to see Royal George. Its the highest suspension bridge in the whole world. Kaylee got pretty nervous walking across. She also got to see a magic show there and ride some rides. It was a good time.
Saying goodbye to Eric was harder then I thought. Thankfully the girls are here to keep me buxy. He was so sweet he wrote me a letter and hid little notes all though the house. I am still finding them! We do miss Eric so much, but we are so proud! I also feel so blessed that we have technology like we do. We are able to talk and see him almost every day. He seems like he is pretty busy at work. But he is the right man for the Job. He is good at what he does. His motivation and drive impresses me. He is a good man and we are blessed to have him in our life.
I knew Kaylee would have a hard time saying goodbye to her daddy so we planned another trip to Utah. Me and the girls drove half way and then stayed in a hotel. Kaylee had a good time swimming. We woke up and drove the rest of the way to Shars house... Kaylee and Laycee played and played! Ty came down for 3 of the days... we went to the park, pool and the movies. Oh and of course we stopped at the cheese factory for some yummy squecky cheese! The kids all slep in the play room downstairs... they had to much fun! kaylee would get laughing so hard! I got to watch Shawn one day... it was so much fun! Finally he needed me, he would walk me all around the house making me get things for him. It was the best!

New Challange

So.... I started this 8 week challenge.... One of the things I have to do is start Journal. I am so bad at this! But it will be a good thing! So much has happened since my last blog. I now have two wonderful little girls, Eric is doing well, We are getting ready to move soon.... so much to do so little time.

Kaylee Jade is now 5. She is the best big sister a girl could ever have. She loves to help me in anyway she can. She loves to sing and dance and put on little shows for EVERYONE! One of her songs she made up goes like this "step away from my buried" and "I'm four check your pockets zip" Her favorite thing to do is to play barbies. She is in ballet and t-ball.

Payton is now 3 months old. She is such a happy baby. She is starting to giggle, and play with toys. She loves to cuddle... and always sleeps with her arms above her head. Her swing is her favorite place to lounge. She has already been to Nana's house in Cali and in Utah. She has also been to Auntie Lese's and Auntie Shar Shars.... She is a great traveler, but I'm sure she will be glad to live much closer to her cousins just like miss Kaylee.

We have already had a busy summer.... We started it with a trip to Cali to see my mom. We stayed there for over a month! It was great! Nana and Papa took such great care of us. We went to Marine World with the Millers. The kids had a great time riding the rides.... and we even got splashed by the dolphins! Eric and I then drove to Utah to spend Memorial day close to my brothers grave. His grave was decorated so beautifully. I still can't believe he has been gone for one year... And I seem to miss him more and more as the time passes. I feel so blessed of the time I got to spend with him, I only wish I could have spent more time with him. Kaylee still asks to go to his house... She remembers the toys and the treat bowl! I hope I can keep that memorie alive for her. In one of his last days, he talked to me about how to fish so I can teach Kaylee the right way to do it. One day I will fish with him again. I love you L.D
