Christmas!!!

I can't believe it came and went.... It went by way too fast this year. This year I have so much to be thankful for. I am blessed with the best daughter ever. She was truly picked out for me. Her and I have so much fun together. And let me tell you does she ever have me wrapped around her finger. She is doing so well, and has only been sick once this winter. No more scares with the nuts..(we are keeping a close eye!!) She is talking so much and has the cutest little voice!! She loves to sing and dance. She really loves to paint. We got her the magic light paint thing and she used up all the paint in one day. Her new thing is to tell me that she is too busy... It is so funny when ever I ask her to do something she tells me that. I just roll my eyes and tell her to get it done.

I am also so thankful for my family... They are always there for me know matter what time. I love that I can call my sister at 11 at night and know that she will answer!! We are crazy night owls!! Tomorrow Kaylee and I are flying out to Utah... then we will drive to Cali. We are so excited it will be so much fun. It's only been a month since I've seen the fam but man am I ready for the craziness again!!

I am so grateful of my family being so supportive of me going to school. Both Eric and Kaylee are big helpers when its time for me to study... Which is almost all the time!! I am so glad that I am passing and can't wait till it is all behind me. I feel like I have been going to school forever.. but soon it will be behind me!!

I am also so thankful for my friends.... There have been so many time that they have picked me up and helped me keep going. This year has been a rough one, without them it would have been so much harder. They make me laugh and give me an out let for all of my stress!! Thank you all so much, know that I love you and really appreciate all the things you have done for me.

And lastly I would like to thank all the men and women who are serving. I have so many friends who are "down range" right know. The sacrifices they have made to help keep us safe is amazing. We will never know what they have see or what they have gone through. It is a totally different place, but I am so thankful that they are there making sure that the place stays far away from us!! Please keep them and their family's in your prayers. A friend of mine wrote me and told me how three men died on Christmas day. Keep them in your prayers, be thankful that they are doing what they are doing. As a member of the military... I will never forget.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.... And have a great New Year!!!

Love you All!!!

School!!!!

School has taken over my life!!! I cant wait till they say guess what you have passed!! I dont even want to do the pinning thing.... just give me my diploma and send me on my way. Everything has been put on the back burner, but I guess in the end it will be worth it!! Kaylee is so cute and loves to help mommy with her homework!! She is quite creative and loves to paint!! We had a great time in Utah with out family. I just wish I had more time to visit my friends too!! I am missing Emily, Cam and Karlee so much!!! I wish they would just move back and we could do play groups again. I have been so busy with school that I have not been able to find a new play group for Kaylee. Hopefully during Christamas break. I have meet some great people in my class. My new friend Erika and I have gotten really close. She is like 20 yrs younger than me (okay so only 6) but she is too cute!! I am so excited for snowboarding season. It snowed last night so hopefully Kaylee and I can play in the snow before we have to go to school!! Well I miss and love you all. Take care!!

So it has been way too long since my last post. I have been so busy it has been crazy. I finally started nursing school this fall and it really has taken up the bulk of my time. I have also started working a few days a week. I really love being a nurse and cant wait until i am a "real nurse" (RN) Kaylee is getting so big and is taking up a storm. She says everything so I really have to watch what I say. Her favorite is bull *$%& and yesterday a guy cut me off so i called him an a** hole... Of course my little one said it after me. I am the best example ever. She calls me her best friend... I love it!!! I will be so sad when she grows up and does not need me as much. Or worse doesn't want me around. Now I am the only person she wants.....

Recently we had another scare with miss Kaylee. She was a daycare and ate a cashew. I guess she is allergic because I had to call the ambulance to take her to the E.R. Her tongue was swollen and she started drooling. She had the worst rash all over her body. Now miss thing has to have an epi pen everywhere we go!! How crazy is that? It was soooo scary. I am so thankful that she is okay. I love my little angle.
Kaylee is also potty trained!! She was 2 weeks after her 2 yr old birthday. She was really easy to train!! I am so lucky. I guess because she was such a hard baby, heavenly father thought he would give me a break!! She is also really well behaved, and very polite. I am so proud of her. She loves having friends over and meeting new friends. She is always saying hi to any kid when she sees them, "hi friend" she will say. Last weekend we went camping and Kaylee had a bunch of kids to play with. She was the youngest, but she was the ring leader. Anytime she would go somewhere when we came back all the kids would run up to her and give her tons of hugs. It was too cute!!!
Kaylee loves to color and paint. She will spend hours with a marker and a coloring book (yes a marker, crayons are not good enough for her). She loves playing with her dolls. Her favorite one is her little mermaid barbie that her Nana bought her in California.
We had a great summer, Kaylee's favorite thing to do was go swimming!! She did not like getting splashed though. She still loves going to the park and taking Emma for walks. Right now she is with her daddy hiking up the incline. They just called and she said "I want to go home" its been a long day. Well I should go start dinner.

Your Welcome

Kaylee Jade is talking so much!! Anytime I tell her thank you, she replys with the cutesest little "your wlecome!" It makes my heart melt. She is such a fun little girl. She will also say "sorry" at the drop of a hat. Today we were at target, and she was running past this lady and said "oh sorry." While we were picking up today, we bumped into each other and of course she laughed and said "sorry."

Today we went to and Easter Extravaganxa at Peterson AFB. It was fun. I will up load the pics asap. (I still need to figure that part out). Kaylee had alot of fun, she kept trying to steel the easter eggs.

Yesterday we woke up and it was snowing. Of course Kaylee said "oh snow" So Kaylee and I bult a snowman. It was so much fun!!

Terrible Twos.....
So the other day Eric and I were at warlmart. We were cheking out when Kaylee saw some gum and well started to thow a fit. It wasn't a bad one, but it make people look. Anyway the checker asked how old she was, and I replied with "shes almost 2." The checker actually had the nerve to say "oh the treeible twos" with disgust in her voice. I said "there not so terrible, and she said "whatever" all snooty. Why do people do that? Why can't they just see that at two it is really hard for kids to express their feelings. I loves Kaylees age right knw. Yea we have some bad days, but it is so worth it. After a long day she will give me the biggest hug and I am over it!! We are so lucky to have her. I am re-namining the two as the "terrific twos!!!

RSV

Last week, Kaylee started with a cough. A few days later, i noticed her effort to breath was increasing and her heart rate was really fast. I took her to the ER and she was diagnosed with RSV pneumonia. She had to have breathing treatments every four hours. Man did she hate them. I tried all the tricks to get her to sit still. I even followed my mothers suggestion and hid under a tent with her. She was not having any of it. Finally, I just stated giving it to her when she was asleep. Every now and then she had a bad coughing fit where I had to hold her down to give her the treatment. She is doing much better know, but is still contagious. We have been stuck in this house for a week and we are both going crazy!! Yesterday her and I stayed in our PJ's all day!! I guess its not all bad!! One good thing that came out of this, was that Kaylee and I really had to get invented during play time. We had to keep the games low key, but still fun. Nana's Christmas presents really came in handy!! Even Eric played dress-up with Kaylee!! She is such a strong little angle. I am so proud of her. She says a new word just about everyday. Yesterday we were reading books and she saw an airplane, and said airplane. It was so cute!! Kaylee loves to dance. The only draw back is that if Queen Kaylee is dancing, everyone must dance with her highness. She will point to the floor and tell you"down" until you get up and bust a move with her.

Because Kaylee has been contagious I have had to have Cory's little brother Nick watch her. She loves her uncle Nick. They have so much fun together (when he's not chasing her around the house with tickle me Elmo). I am so thankful for all my friends. We are truly lucky to have such great friends. They are more like my Colorado Family. I am a little sad today. I just found out that my friend Emily and her family are moving back to Utah. I am happy for them because I know how hard it is to be away for family, but I will miss them so much. Emily and her family have been so good to me in more ways than I can count. Emily is always there, and really helped me though my little boob scare. She is so inspirational. She makes me want to be a better mom, friend and daughter of our heavenly father. She makes my testimony grow more and more each day. I have been blessed to know them. I guess its a good thing they are moving, because eventually we will be moving back to Utah (I always try and look at the good). I am so glad that we met, and I know that she will be a friend of mine for years to come. (I don't think we can keep Kaylee and Avery away for to long, Kaylee gets so mad when people come to the door and it's not Avery. She runs right to her room crying!! I can't wait to get them together again, it has been to long!!!)

My first post....

So a few of my good friends have a family blog on this site. I was unable to post to their blogs until I singed up myself. I have been thinking about how much I need to start writing down my thoughts. So much happens each day, some I would love to forget, others I want to hold on to forever. I hope that by writing some of them down, I can look back and remember the good (and the bad) days.

My daughter, my pride and joy has just turned 19 months. I can't believe how old she is getting. I miss holding her close like I did when she was a baby, but I love to watch her grow. She is learning so much and amazes me everyday. Last night we let her watch a movie in our bed before bedtime. She tucked Eric and I in and patted our backs. It made me melt. Man some days it kills me to put her in her own bed. I want her so close to me all the time!!!

We watched Avery the other night. It was so fun, those two really do get along well. They played dress ups and babies oh and who can make the biggest mess. When it was time for her to go home, Kaylee hid in her room so she wouldn't have to say goodbye. As soon as the door shut, she ran right up to is screaming No! No! No! She hates to say goodbye just like her mama!!
